B.Agric. Honours in Agricultural Management
PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME WHILE YOU'RE WORKING OR FARMING!

The Honours course in Agricultural Management is multidisciplinary and aims at developing the student's proficiency in a wide variety of functional areas of farm management, and also at offering training in the management of businesses which process agricultural products. This shift of emphasis brings a greater variety of subject disciplines into action in the presentation of the course.
Although the training programme is conducted and coordinated by the Centre for Agricultural Management, the presentation of the programme is a faculty concern, in which almost all the departments in the Agricultural Programme are involved.
The Centre for Agricultural Management forms part of the Department of Agricultural Economics with the responsibility of developing and presenting the agricultural management training and research programmes.
The management committee of the Centre is comprised of persons both from within and outside the academic milieu.
Different study methods will be used, such as lectures and presentations, individual work, group work, group discussions and studies carried out by means of video cassettes. This variety is essential in order to develop your skills in the diverse areas of management.
